About the Role
This Finance role will partner closely with Sales and Client Delivery to structure, negotiate, and approve all pricing components for new sales opportunities and the existing client base. The candidate will develop custom financial models to forecast and predict the profitability of new deals while also providing support to the Client Delivery team on changes to the existing programs. The candidate should have extreme proficiency with Microsoft Excel and build financial models in a fast paced environment. The candidate should be very proficient and comfortable working with and discussing numbers and mathematical operations in an ad hoc fast paced environment.
What You Will Do
• Understand key profitability drivers and cost factors for Magnit
• Develop a global pricing strategy/framework with country specific considerations
• Become an expert in country specific regulations and statutory environment (Europe/APAC)
• Financial modelling to support sales/client delivery requests
• Work closely with sales leaders and customers in deal negotiation, and support the creation of commercially viable contracts that serve our business and customers in the best way
• Coordinate cross-functionally on key deals and projects to ensure Magnit can deliver a solution profitably
• Develop an understanding of ongoing trends in the marketplace to deliver creative commercial strategies to improve win rate and stay ahead of the competition
• Perform analysis and feedback on commercial deal outcomes to key stakeholders in the business
• Ensuring deal alignment with financial objectives
• Supporting the healthy growth of Magnit
• Improving sales win rates through continuous innovation
• Risk mitigation
• Supporting sales / client facing teams throughout deal lifecycle
What You Will Need
• 5 plus years of experience in financial analysis/planning/operations
• Experience in MSP/Staffing is a plus
• Experience in building and creating custom financial models in Excel in a fast paced environment (on the fly; real time)
• Proactive, reliable and responsive with strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly, skillfully, and effectively
• Need to be extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience in other Financial planning tools is a plus
