About the Role
As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will own the integrity and strength of the Salesforce Platform. You'll be acting as a trusted advisor to our team and clients, and an effective mentor for other Salesforce professionals working alongside you. You will need a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform but just as importantly, top-notch people's skills to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders and gain integrity to get your visions built into successful system.
What You Will Do
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions, including the design of the overall architecture for Sales Cloud.
• Lead the technical implementation of projects, provide guidance to development teams and ensure high-quality solutions are built.
• Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other Enterprise Application systems and manage data models, identity and access, and data privacy needs.
• Ensure that Salesforce solutions comply with internal security policies, regulatory requirements (like GDPR), and industry best practices.
• Act as a technical advisor to executives and other stakeholders, communicating the capabilities and limitations of the platform and aligning technical solutions with business objectives.
• Continuously evaluate new Salesforce features to drive innovation and improve efficiency.
• Create and maintain documentation for architectural decisions, technical specifications, and system configurations.
• Act as a release manager, approving configuration and coded items to be deployed between environments. Where appropriate, this could include deploying changes.
• Own the design of Salesforce and other affiliated solutions for Sales, Service, and platform solutions.
What You Will Need
• At least 5 years' experience in a leading role in delivering Salesforce projects.
• Minimum Salesforce certified:
o Administrator
o Sales Cloud Consultant
o Service Cloud Consultant
o Platform App Builder
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to observe trends. Able to actively make suggestions based on the results.
• Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that enables stakeholders to decide with confidence.
• A strategic approach to solution design, with proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans to support the strategy.
• Excellent ability to coach, motivate and direct work tasks to a multi-disciplinary team of Salesforce professionals.
• Proficiency with Salesforce technologies (APEX, Visualforce, Lightning/LWC, Force.com).
• Strong knowledge of the SFDC Data Model across various clouds/products and significant data modeling experience.
• DevOps/CI-CD experience – Change sets, SalesforceDX, version control (Git), automated deployment tools.
