About the Role

The Network Administrator is responsible for the management, security, and maintenance of on-premise and cloud networks in a rapidly scaling enterprise environment. You will be responsible for maintaining the recommended security posture, monitoring network systems, identifying issues, and ensuring efficient traffic flow across the LAN / WAN. The Network Administrator will build and maintain security policies, maintain high-quality network connectivity services, and ensure the network edge remains secure. This role also involves mentoring junior team members and coordinating with stakeholders on complex projects.

What You Will Do

*    Installation, design, and maintenance of data center and corporate computer networks - LAN/WLAN/WAN
*    Design and build LAN and WAN networks efficiently to keep pace with a rapidly growing international network
*    Enforce and maintain security standards for on-premise and cloud infrastructure
*    Daily threat status checks on NGFWs
*    Daily network throughput checks using Solarwinds and other QoS monitoring tools
*    Managing back office and data center switches, APs, and NGFWs
*    In-depth knowledge of network management, redundancy, and capacity planning
*    LAN networking to include cable management, WLAN, data center, and IDF organization
*    Develop and maintain network diagrams, processes, and technical documentation
*    Mentor and guide junior network engineers and administrators
*    Manage relationships with vendors, ISPs, and telecom providers
*    Perform network performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning
*    Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network-related projects and initiatives
*    Lead and participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and support
*    Proactively recommend changes to enhance network environment and maintain a secure perimeter
*    Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure the network remains competitive
What You Will Need

*    7+ years of building and maintaining WAN and LAN/WLAN networks
*    7+ years of experience with Cisco data center and workgroup switches
*    7+ years of experience with Palo Alto Networks next-gen firewalls
*    3+ years of experience with Meraki products
*    3+ years of cloud networking - Azure and AWS a plus
*    Solarwinds monitoring and IPAM
*    Experience with VPN technologies
*    Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to include ISP circuits, WAN, VPN, WLAN, and LAN issues
*    Demonstrate strong networking fundamentals to include VPN, IPSec, subnetting, VoIP, network access controls
*    Comprehensive understanding of network security concepts - zero trust, IDS/IPS, patching, and threat prevention
*    Experience with setup, tuning, and activation of Palo Alto firewalls
*    Motivated to be part of a fast-paced, highly technical team with an eye for security
*    Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*    Virtual firewalls
*    Multi-cloud routing
*    SD-WAN and SASE technologies
*    Network automation and orchestration
*    Experience with containerization technologies and Kubernetes networking
*    Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, or AWS/Azure networking certifications
