About the Role
We are looking for an individual to conduct a review of current active and terminated contracts on a temporary basis in order for the business to make informed decisions going forward. It is believed there is up to 1000 contracts that could need to be reviewed. This role is expected to start ASAP and is believed to be needed for 2 months.
You will be interpreting contractual requirements, searching for specific information inside of contracts, conducting an audit of specific clauses and collating the information into a digestible informative review that will be reviewed business leaders. You will be required to work efficiently but accurately as the information will form into a larger company wide strategy, with this piece being a building block for the business.
To ensure success, you should possess knowledge of contract law and ideally have experience in a similar industry, be confident in speaking with all levels of the business and be able comfortable working supervised and unsupervised.
You will be given support from the Junior Corporate Counsel and the Head of Legal for EMEA and the required training to undertake the role.
What You Will Do
* Reviewing contracts to prevent potential disputes and financial risks.
* Analyzing contract clauses, stipulations, obligations, and liabilities.
* Ensuring that contract terms comply with legal requirements and policies.
* Advising internal departments on innovative and cost-effective ways to comply with contractual obligations.
* Documenting processes and maintaining files.
* Able to report back to senior leaders daily on progress and high level issues.
* Ensuring all contracts are reviewed and recorded in audit trail.
* As reviewing undertaken draft, final and signed contracts are organised in the system.
What You Will Need
* Degree in law or a related field of study.
* Experience as a contract analyst in a related industry.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability and Mastery of Excel, Word, PDF and Sharepoint
* Good time-management skills.
* Ability to perform under pressure.
* Excellent computer skills.
* A keen eye for detail.
