About the Role


The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the successful and timely software and service implementation, coordination and management.  This position is responsible for defining, planning and driving the team activities necessary to reach implementation objectives including the internal coordination of tasks with a project plan and ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.  In this role, the PM will work closely with all departments and customers serving as consultant, organizer, facilitator, planner, data analyst and problem solver as needed.  Working independently and with minimal supervision, the PM independently handles the implementation of medium scale customer implementations or may partner with another PM or Sr PM for larger scale implementations. Highly developed skills in complex relationship management, conflict resolution and problem solving are required.  This position involves travelling up to 35% both domestically and internationally.

What You Will Do

*    Manage the demands of multiple projects and demanding clients both directly and through team members, ensuring that all project assignments are met with maximum quality standards in place
*    Create, communicate, update, and execute the client project plan. This involves routine client contact via written and verbal communication including on site, face-to-face client visits, telephone conferencing, and e-mail communication and delegating tasks and assignments to the appropriate team members while managing the progress of the plan and providing timely documentation along the way
*    Independently deliver projects medium to large in scale (as defined by client size and volume, number of tasks and timeline)
*    Manage scope as well as minimize and mitigate risk across projects. Addresses issues openly and quickly, escalating to management where necessary.
*    Practice quality procedures in accordance with Magnit methodology to ensure profitable and successful execution of projects as measured by meeting project success factors and customer satisfaction
*    Identify partnership opportunities and inform sales and/or client services on "add-on" sales opportunities across projects
*    Responsible for overseeing of the analysis of client provided data for the validation of worker, manager, supplier and order information including: ensuring job descriptions which reflect the actual job duties; environment; workers compensation codes; exempt/non-exempt classifications; and other data as needed.  Responsible for verifying FLSA compliance is met, bill rate reflects contract rates and mitigates risk to Magnit by assessing the accuracy of the information received
*    Conduct internal and external project meetings starting with the project launch and others as needed at various intervals throughout the client implementation or provide oversight of project coordinators conducting such.
*    Responsible for supervising project coordinators to deliver timely and accurate agendas, meeting minutes and action items.
*    Develop training material for manager, contractor, and supplier trainings and conduct such training either independently or in conjunction with project coordinator(s).
*    Coordinate the elements and document the progress of day-to-day project implementation through Magnit standard processes and corresponding project plan. Provide regular implementation status updates to management.
*    Produce and maintain all project documents and correspondence to ensure historical and current project information is available for reference (electronic or hard copy) or provide oversight of project coordinators creating such.
*    Participates in sales RFP and/or conduct system demonstrations as requested.
*    Oversee various operational functions and serve as escalation/clarification resource for up to 4 weeks after a client is live with Magnit services
*    Construct and present business requirements document, supplier handbook and Standard Operating Procedures to internal and external clients for each implementation
*    Other project or related duties as assigned

What You Will Need

*    5 plus years of hands-on experience managing client facing projects for Fortune 1,000 clients and working on cross-functional teams
*    Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, independently organize and prioritize work
*    Ability and availability to travel to client sites for face to face meetings, interacting with all levels in an organization including executive management
*    Ability to maintain composure, solve practical problems and successfully manage a variety of changing situations under stress and against tight deadlines
*    Superior verbal and written communication skills
*    Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
*    Proficiency with MS Office
*    Demonstrated success in leadership and staff management
*    Smart Sheet
*    Visio
*    Familiarity with conducting meetings via the web
*    Deadline and detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task and juggle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
