About the Role
In this role you will be challenged to bring your best on a daily basis.  The emphasis will be to taken higher level of activities and mentorship with no direct reports.  One of your key objectives in supporting our high volume processing is to work with the team, to improve accuracy and increase efficiency. We welcome your ideas for how to do things differently and better. You will use your well-rounded problem solving skills to creatively address employee payment questions, and collaborate with other Magnit teams to foster an environment in which continuous improvement is the standard. You have the freedom to provide the expert support that makes our solutions stand out in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.

What You Will Do
    Mentor, engage and support members of the EMEA CPO team to ensure effective and timely processing.
    Understand the operational procedures and Payroll cycles, for the Netherlands.
    Advise and assist the team on any complexities regarding transactional elements.
    Oversee Payroll procedures and day-to-day activities, planning for the preparation, validation and reconciliation for end to end processes.
    Timecard maintenance, regulatory requirement monitoring for the Netherlands, rate changes, direct deposit, advances/arrears, manual paychecks, and shift differential maintenance.
    Data entry into Vendor management Systems; PeopleSoft; APM/Microloon and Excel.
    Holiday leaves tracking and maintenance.
    Evaluate processes and procedural documents for increased efficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
    Assist in the collection of user requirements for system enhancements and solutions.

What You Will Need
    3-5 years of work experience in the Netherlands - focused payroll role
    Dutch/English speaking
    Full understanding of Belastingdienst obligations for Taxation and Social Security deductions for Employees and the Employer
    Full understanding of StiPP/ASR/ABP pension obligations and reporting
    Detailed knowledge of Working Time Regulations (WTR).
    Experience with additional EMEA country payroll processing and/or AOP/Payroll Bureau exposure is a plus
    Experience with payroll processing systems, preferably PeopleSoft or similar large-scale ERP.
    Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints, using pre-defined and creative solutions.
    Strong customer relationship and interpersonal skills.
    Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
