About the Role

The Client Payroll Operations (CPO) Team is a dynamic, high-energy team which provides top-tier contingent workforce payroll processing and support to Magnit field services teams working onsite at top name companies around the globe. The CPO team works cross-functionally with internal partners including billing, finance, HR, training, and client services (CS) to ensure transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. In this role, you will be challenged to bring your best on a daily basis.  One of your key objectives in supporting our high-volume processing is to improve accuracy and increase efficiency. You will use your well-rounded problem-solving skills to creatively address employee payment questions and collaborate with other Magnit teams to foster an environment in which continuous improvement is the standard. What You Will Do


*    Establish and maintain an effective team locally (UK) and remotely (India) through regular and measurable assessment.  Continue to build team in respective regions as necessary.
*    Collaborate with the Operations management team to support the development and implementation of operational and technical infrastructure designed to accommodate the business' growth objectives, specifically within the EMEA and APAC regions.
*    Fulfil day-to-day functions of the CPO Global team including but not limited to:  ensuring global payroll cycles transact in an accurate and timely manner, timecard maintenance, EMEA and APAC country regulatory requirement monitoring, rate changes, direct deposit, advances/arrears, manual paychecks, and shift differential maintenance.
*    Accurate payroll processing and ensuring that Client Services representatives utilise appropriate processing procedures and follow compliance regulations.
*    Manage and provide on-going research, resolution, product support and superior customer support to Workers, Client Services, HR, and finance teams.
*    Data entry into WAND, PeopleSoft and Excel.
*    Holiday leaves accrual tracking and maintenance.
*    International Agent of Payment (AOP) data coordination and relationship management.
*    Update payrollee records as requested by client, employee or client services.
*    Ad hoc reporting - producing basic reporting on departments, workers, vendors etc.
*    Evaluate processes and procedural documents for increased efficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
*    Assist in the collection of user requirements for system enhancements and solutions.
*    Knowledge of Magnit business design and product offerings.

What You Will Need

*    2 plus years of work experience in a UK- focused payroll role, preferably in a production environment and in a customer service related field.
*    4 plus years in a supervisory role managing 2-5 direct reports.
*    Detailed knowledge of UK Working Time Regulations (WTR).
*    Candidates with additional EMEA country payroll processing and/or AOP exposure will be granted preference.
*    Experience with payroll processing systems, preferably PeopleSoft or similar large-scale ERP.
*    Ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints using pre-defined and creative solutions.
*    Familiarity with completion and reporting of HMRC forms P11D, P45, P60, P9D, etc.
*    Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram or schedule form.
*    Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment as well as work independently.
*    Ability to manage time and priorities as required.
*    Strong customer relationship and interpersonal skills.
*    Organisational skills including the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner.
*    Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
*    Skilled with independent working relationships and collaboration with management located in alternate time zones.
*    CIPP Foundation Degree in Payroll Management or similar designation preferred.
