About the Role
As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will combine the technical expertise of data engineering with the strategic vision of business analytics. This hybrid role empowers you to create robust data infrastructures and deliver insights that directly influence business decisions. Your ability to work with both raw data and business stakeholders ensures that solutions align with organizational goals.
What You Will Do
* Data Engineering Responsibilities:
o Design and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.
o Manage ETL processes and ensure seamless integration of data across platforms.
o Oversee Azure resources (Blob Storage, Data Lake) and implement data governance best practices.
o Ensure data workflows support business analytics, providing high-quality data for stakeholders.
* Business Analysis Responsibilities:
o Provide critical thinking and support for data-driven decision making across departments.
o Analyze and interpret trends from complex datasets to inform strategic initiatives.
o Develop compelling data visualizations in Power BI and present insights to key stakeholders.
o Collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams to create solutions that address business challenges.

What You Will Need
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience in either data engineering or business analytics, with a desire to grow in the complementary area.
* Expertise in SQL, Azure Stack, ETL processes, and Power BI.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to turn large datasets into actionable business insights.
* Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Background:
* Candidates with experience in one of the following roles will be considered:
o Data Engineers with exposure to business analytics, reporting, or presenting insights to stakeholders.
o Business Analysts with experience in data extraction, SQL, or technical project work.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional capacity and adapt quickly to a dynamic business environment.
